The following classes listed IDS 3183, IDS 3309, OCE 3014 and COM 3471 confirmed my passion and curiosity of helping out. Being a part of organizations, missions, services and goals bigger than myself. For instance my class "How We Know What We Know" showed me the strong influence the media of message has on the population. Leaving me intrigued enough to taking a Social Media Impact class on Communication this summer A (2017). All in all these courses educated me on the current tools that keeps the world thriving. Which is communication in a nut shell but all tie from community service, networking, and traveling. Sharing different cultural rituals, traditions and ways of life. The course developed my character and work ethic, setting standards for myself that I will abide by no matter what I choose to do in life. It goes back to the global engagement we must hold ourselves accountable for something. Nobody can do anything alone, well at least not to its full potential. A group can do far more than one. Lets educate each other and wake up. Taking these courses opened my eyes to tons of issues like how civilians avoid/unaware or scared to face worldly issues. Below, is a prompt I was instructed to write about some of the pros and cons focusing on our roles in the rapid addiction and dependency of the interconnected worldwide web these days.
